First British Cryptocurrency
The self-proclaimed first British based cryptocurrency Electroneum has a couple of tricks up their sleeves worth noting. This digital currency is based on Monero code which means that it is up to the highest standards of user data security and privacy. Electroneum selected a smartphone based application as their primary interface with an eye for mass adoption. They had 400K users at the beginning of 2018 with the Android app available only so far. Just imagine what progress they will make when the iOS version becomes available.
Electroneum strives to provide their users with a fast and easy-to-use coin that can be accessed from a mobile device. The platform developers made a code that is ASIC resistant and can be mined with CPU only. There is also beta testing of mobile mining feature that might be a game changer.
ETN Coin and Future Developments
System’s coin has a ticker symbol ETN. The maximum supply is 21 billion coins while by the end of February 2018 less than a third of that amount has been mined. Electroneum developers also announced plans to make ETN available for gambling platforms on the Internet as well as using it for online gaming by replacing the currently used currencies.
